What’s the deal with church?

Why does church exist? Who started it and what’s it really about? Why does it matter?

It’s not a club, a religious university or a pep rally. The Church is far more than any institution created by people.

The Church matters because Jesus started the Church, died for the Church, and loves the Church. Governments, schools, businesses and organizations will come and go, but the Church will continue because Jesus said He will build it (Matthew 16:18).
