About NewSpring Nations

We believe the earth and everything in it belongs to Jesus. We want to see the kingdom of God everywhere we go! On these trips, we’ll walk out our call to be ambassadors of Jesus by identifying first with our citizenship of heaven — above all else (Philippians 3:20).

Our goal for these trips is to spend time with our mission partners, learn from them, and spend time alongside them in the communities they serve. We want everyone who joins us on a trip to feel challenged to grow in a physically, spiritually, and emotionally safe environment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I have to be part of NewSpring Church to go on this trip?

We give preference to NewSpring volunteers, but you do not have to be part of NewSpring to apply. If you’re interested in getting involved at NewSpring, join us at Connect Classes.

What is the age requirement?

People of all ages can apply for a trip! In some cases, trips may have a more specific age requirement (ie. a trip with Fuse), but that will be clearly communicated.

How long is the trip?

Trips to Antigua and Guatemala City last seven days. Trips to Brazil last eight days. Trips to Kenya last nine days. All of these trip timelines also include travel!

Is a passport required?

Yes. Traveling outside the United States requires an up-to-date passport. Passports cost approximately $175. On how to apply for a U.S. Passport visit here.

Did my application go through?

You will receive a confirmation email within two minutes of submitting your application. If you did not, please fill out the application again.

What vaccinations do I need?

Please visit the CDC website for the country you are traveling to and consult your medical doctor to determine what vaccinations you will need.

Does NewSpring offer scholarships?

No, we do not offer scholarships; however, we would love to work with you to help you come up with a fundraising strategy to raise support!
