Gimmel: God’s word is the key to wisdom

From Psalm 119: 22 Reasons to Love God’s Word

In this stanza, the writer asks God to open his eyes to the wonderful instruction and truths in God’s word. His overwhelming desire is to know and obey God’s laws because he understands that God’s word is the key to wisdom.

As you read God’s word, may you learn to obey and live out the instruction you find there. Pray for deeper understanding each time you meditate on Scripture and for a closer walk with God each day.

• Have you ever put together furniture without instructions? How did that go? How did you feel after? 
• How does living without God’s words remind you of that experience?
